Killbuck Creek is a waterway that runs through the heart of Ohio. It has long provided rejuvenation to the Iroquois, Seneca and Delaware Native Americans, to name a few, as they traveled the best hunting grounds or other settlements. Later, the Ohioans, who settled in its valley, have long used it to support their farms and business. Today, this writer looks out to the Killbuck Creek for inspiration. Her family legend supports that her ancestors, in part, were of the Iroquois. While vibrantly alive and prone to its moods and seasons, the Killbuck Creek is a steady reminder of all that is beautiful and good.
